1. Acceptance of Terms
By using WeBoat Brasil services, you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, please do not use our services. Booking any trip implies full acceptance of these terms.
2. Services Offered
WeBoat Brasil offers private boat rental services for trips in Rio de Janeiro, departing from Marina da Gloria. All trips include a Navy-licensed skipper, fuel for the chosen route, coolers, Bluetooth sound system, floating mat and pool noodles, life jackets, and mandatory insurance.
Optional services such as barbecue, open bar, decoration, DJ, and photographer can be booked separately.
3. Reservations and Payment
- Reservations are made upon confirmation via WhatsApp (21) 96673-4346
- The reservation is confirmed with a 50% deposit of the total amount
- The remaining payment (50%) must be made by the time of boarding
- Accepted payment methods: PIX (preferred, no fees), bank transfer, credit card (up to 12 installments with interest, processor fees applied), and debit card
- The reservation is made in the name of a single contractor, responsible for all guests on board
4. Cancellation and Rescheduling
The 50% deposit secures the boat reservation for the chosen date and time. By making the deposit payment, the customer acknowledges that:
- The deposit is non-refundable, whether for personal, family, health, or any other reason
- Once the reservation is confirmed, the boat is no longer offered to other interested parties, generating an operational cost for WeBoat Brasil
- Need to cancel or reschedule? Contact us as soon as possible via WhatsApp. Our goal is not to keep your deposit. If we can find another client to fill your date, we will release the full amount for refund or rescheduling
- No-show: results in total loss of the deposit, with no right to rescheduling or refund
4.1. Weather Conditions
- Rescheduling due to weather is only possible in case of heavy rain that makes navigation impossible on the trip day and time
- Cloudy weather or light rain do not entitle rescheduling, as boats have a canopy
- In case of poor navigability conditions, the route may be automatically changed to Guanabara Bay
- Rain forecast is not a criterion for cancellation -- the assessment is based on actual conditions on the trip day and time
4.2. Boat Issues
In case of mechanical or technical issues with the booked vessel, WeBoat Brasil will provide similar or superior options. If the customer does not approve any of the alternatives offered, a full refund of the amount paid will be made.
5. Safety Rules
- Always follow the skipper's instructions -- they have maximum authority on board
- Life jacket use is mandatory during open sea navigation
- The use of illegal substances on board is prohibited
- Alcohol consumption must be moderate
- Children must always be accompanied by a guardian
- Hookahs, fireworks, and confetti are prohibited
- Tanning oils are not allowed -- use sunscreen
- The vessel cannot dock alongside other boats
6. Vessel Capacity
The maximum capacity of each boat must be strictly respected for safety and maritime regulations. Everyone counts as a passenger, regardless of age, weight, or size -- including hired professionals (DJ, bartender, photographer). The skipper has the authority to refuse boarding if capacity is exceeded.
7. Punctuality
- The customer must arrive at least 30 minutes before the scheduled time
- Delay time will be deducted from the total trip time
- All passengers must board and disembark at the same location (Marina da Gloria)
8. Customer Responsibilities
- Take care of the vessel and equipment throughout the entire trip
- Report medical restrictions or special needs before boarding
- Damage caused to the vessel or equipment through negligence, misuse, or rule violations will be charged in full to the contractor
- Do not flush paper or any material in the toilet -- system damage will be charged
9. Image Usage
By hiring our services, the customer authorizes the use of trip images for promotional purposes on social media and WeBoat Brasil marketing materials. If you prefer your photos not to be used, simply inform our team before or during the trip.
10. Limitation of Liability
- WeBoat Brasil is not responsible for personal items lost or damaged during the trip
- The decision to enter the water is the sole responsibility of the passengers
- Our vessels do not have specific accessibility for wheelchair users and people with reduced mobility
- The use of the vessel is exclusively for nautical tourism and leisure activities. Any misuse will result in immediate trip interruption and possible legal action
11. Changes to Terms
WeBoat Brasil reserves the right to change these terms at any time. Changes take effect immediately upon publication on the website. We recommend periodically reviewing this page.
